Studio Use Agreement

Studio Use Agreement (Reference Copy)

This is a reference copy of the Studio Use Agreement that all Idea Studios clients sign at booking. The version you sign is generated and time-stamped per booking and emailed to you as a PDF.

Terms agreed to at booking

  1. Session start time. The time on my booking is the time my session starts, not the time I arrive. If I arrive late, the lost time is forfeited.
  2. Payment. I have paid in full at the time of booking. No portion is refunded except per the Booking Policy (full refund 24+ hours before; no refund less than 24 hours before; no refund for no-shows).
  3. Block sessions. 6-hour and 12-hour blocks must be used as one consecutive session on one day. Cannot be split.
  4. Identification. The government-issued photo ID submitted through Stripe Identity is valid, current, and matches my legal name. I am 18 years of age or older.
  5. Gear and equipment. All studio equipment is owned by Idea Studios. I will treat the gear with care.
  6. Damage responsibility. I am financially responsible for any damage during my session, billable at replacement cost.
  7. Theft. Removing studio property without permission is theft and will be reported to law enforcement.
  8. Conduct. No smoking, no pets, no outside food in recording rooms.
  9. Recordings and files. My session files are my responsibility. Idea Studios does not retain project files after session ends.
  10. Owner discretion. Idea Studios reserves the right to refuse service with full refund.
  11. Electronic signature. My typed full legal name combined with IP and timestamp captured at booking constitutes my legal signature under the federal ESIGN Act and Hawaii Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.
  12. Governing law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii.
