BOOKING & CREDIT

A booking is considered “on hold” and not confirmed until either a purchase order is received. We reserve the right to be paid in full before the session begins. Funds must clear before the session start.

MINIMUM BOOKING

We do not accept bookings of less than 2 hours. (with engineer) 

SESSION START & OVERTIME

Session start time begins at the time you have scheduled, regardless of clients, files or equipment being present. Same-day start time changes may incur an additional charge. 

CANCELLATION

You must give at least 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel a session. If cancelled less than 48 hours prior to a session, there will be a 50% cancellation fee.

SOFTWARE PLUG-INS

If you need to use plug-ins with our in-house computers that we don’t have installed, you have the following options:

  • Bring your i-lock and you can install the software on our system.
  • Rent the plug-in (most plug-ins are available for rent)
  • Buy the plug-in and temporarily install on our system.
  • Bring your own system in to use on the session.

SESSION MEDIA
Session media (audio stems)  will only be released when full payment for the session is received. Once session media has been turned over to the client Idea Studios is no longer expected to maintain a backup copy of the session unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We recommend that each client make a back-up copy of the sessions immediately.

DAW project file is NOT included with session. 

STUDIO GEAR (DAMAGE)
In the event a piece of studio gear owned by Idea Studios or any part of its facility becomes damaged by you, or anyone in your party, due to negligence, accident, or willful act, you agree to provide monetary compensation in the amount of full replacement value of the damaged item. Damage to the studio property of any kind that are a result of anyone in client’s party or group will be assessed to client’s account.
